世界が希望で満たされるように、バイリンガルな感性と信仰を調和したアートを創作しています。東京で生まれ、3つの文化を持つ両親のもとで育ちました。高校、大学、就職、結婚、出産、貧民奉仕活動を通して、24年間アメリカに住んでいました。日本画を学び始め、より静かで没入感のある日本人の感性で神の創造物を観察する事を学びました。デザイナーや社会起業家として正義のために戦う一方で健康や結婚における苦しみを経験した20年を超えた今、キリストの希望で人々の心が慰め癒されるアートを作りたいです。

I create art that harmonizes bicultural perspectives and faith in order to let hope rise in the world. Born and raised in Tokyo with tri-cultural parents. Lived in the USA for 24 years through high school, university, work, marriage, childbirth, and serving in justice ministries. Since I started learning Nihonga, the traditional mineral pigment painting, I have learned a quieter and immersive way to observe God’s creation. After 2 decades of working as a designer and fighting for justice as a social entrepreneur, while experiencing personal sufferings in health and marriage, I want to create art that comforts and lifts up others with the hope of Christ.

I encountered the Holy Spirit on July 12, 2000 and became a Christian. Since then, I have experienced the power of God’s Word and the love of Christ through difficult times when I almost died after giving birth, when my marriage shattered due to my husband's infidelity, and in my daily life as a single mom raising my beloved daughter. 夕焼けは囁く「希望を握りしめて、闇を恐れないで。大丈夫。また太陽が昇り、光が満ち溢れるから。」 The sunset sky whispers, “Hold onto HOPE and don’t fear the darkness. Rest assured. The sun will rise again and the light will fill the earth.”

今回のクリスマス展示会では “Immanuel - God with us” をテーマに、夕焼け空を見上げながら神様の愛と近さを感じられるシリーズを制作する予定です。
